Primavera Sound has long been regarded as the quintessential summer music festival. The crowd roars. Ocean waves crash off in the distance, and the sun cascades into a beautiful backdrop.

Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? This is Primavera Sound, the music destination of the World. Set in one of the best party destinations in the world, Barcelona, the festival has beauty simply in its existence alone. Like years before, artists will perform sets until the wee hours of the morning, and festival goers will find some of their favorites on the various stages the festival commands.

This year, Primavera Sound has invited a wide range of brilliant performers from around the world. Primavera Sound has made it a point to really provide a space for artists to be appreciated. This year at Primavera Sound, music from across various genres was been hand picked to ensure that only the best of the best are slated to perform. Artists like: Migos, Jorja Smith, Tyler, the Creator, Lorde, and Arca are just a few of the huge names that are slated to perform. Not only will mainstream musicians be at hand for entertaining, but up and coming, promising acts will get the opportunity to shine throughout the week, as well; for example: Jay Som, DÌÈrga, North State, Rex Orange County, Dope Calypso, and Alex the Astronaut.

Clearly, as a front runner in musical diversity, Primavera Sound also opens its gates to concert goers from across the globe to boot. What better way to bond with people from all corners of the world, than via a shared love of music. In a big city, where the hustle and bustle can divert our paths, music truly solidifies us. It [music] brings us closer together, and the culmination of that experience, live and in real time, is truly unmatched.

Yours truly, will be onsite, at Primavera Sound. I‰’m excited to be on hand to experience all of this from my perspective. Furthermore, I cannot wait to report back to you all, on what I am sure is bound to be an event to remember for years to come.

Needless to say, the time for artistic expression, good times, and talented musicians is now! I especially look forward to the amazing array of female performers like: HAIM, Bjork, Sevdaliza, Abra, Kelela, Lauren Mayberry from CHVRCHES, Christina Rosenvinge, and Charlotte Gainsbourg (just to name a few) that are all on the docket to perform.

Sidenote: Though tickets for Saturday‰’s performances have sold out, there is still time to purchase tickets for the rest of Primavera Sound. Don’t miss out on what is bound to be the celebration of the summer! Tickets here.
