If you haven’t seen the numerous posts, shares, and likes from your Facebook friends just yet, let me be the first to tell you that your favorite teenage heartthrobs are getting back together. That’s right! After six long painful years, the Jonas Brothers are finally reuniting. THIS IS BIG NEWS, PEOPLE.

I first heard the suspected rumors when I was casually dancing along to “Burning Up,” with some friends on a snowy day. A whole playlist of throwbacks and bops sparked the conversation: could the Jonas Brothers really be coming back? It seemed almost too good to be true. Nostalgia filled my heart as one of my first concerts came to mind. My dad had taken me to the Hannah Montana concert with opening act: The Jonas Brothers. I sang along to every song, from “S.O.S” to “Hold On” until my dad finally stood with me.

“I know this one!,” he yelled over the crowd of screaming tweens as the trio blasted “Year 3,000.”

Fast forward to a couple days ago when the Jonas Brothers reactivated their Instagram account and blacked out all of their social media accounts. This could only mean one thing. Now with an official teaser for their week long participation on The Late Late Show starting on Monday, March 4., there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Jonas Brothers are back and better than ever. The teaser features the brothers doing Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and even gives a glimpse of their new single, “Sucker,” which already sounds just as catchy as their classics.

Needless to say, fans are freaking out.

The emotional rollercoaster doesn’t stop there. “I have been listening to the Jonas Brothers for the past half hour and cried for 29 minutes of that,” says avid Jonas Brothers fan, Olivia Cronin. “I can’t believe this is happening.”

Big things are coming for the reunited band. However, I think it’s important to remember that the Jonas Brothers never really ended. After all, they’re still family and always will be. While they exist as brothers and go off in whichever direction they choose, their nostalgic music will always live on, whether they’re a band or not.

But in the meantime, I’ll be watching “Jonas Brothers Week” on the Late Late Show if you need me.
