As a college student, I have found music to be an immense stress reliever and therapeutic agent. Indie, lo-fi chill-hop, and psychedelic indie music especially have very calming qualities and have helped me unwind after a long day or stressful test. I also believe music to be an important component of self-care- just chilling in bed listening to some chill songs can be an effective way to re-charge and prepare for your day.
