WVAU Capital Punishment 2012: Dan Deacon

General Manager

TONIGHT is WVAU’s final Capital Punishment show of the year, featuring Baltimore electronica renegade Dan Deacon at Comet Ping Pong. The concert is free for all AU students with their student ID. Doors open at 9:45, but come early and take advantage of Comet’s incredible pizza. Yes, it’s incredible, and Guy Fieri says so

Dan Deacon is one of electronic music’s most prolific artists and infamous for his live shows, so don’t miss this very special Capital Punishment. Tonight is going down in WVAHistory, and we’re so excited to see you at the show. Big thanks to our cosponsors AmLit, ATV and AWOL.

Comet Ping Pong is located next to Politics and Prose on the corner of Connecticut and Nebraska. Here are a few ways to find your way there tonight:

Meet at the Tenleytown station at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 and walk over to Comet.

Wanna travel independently? Take the shuttle to the Brandywine stop (the second-to-last before the Tenleytown station) and walk this waaaaaaaaay

Maybe you’re a bus person. The M4 line will take you from the stop across the street from Ward (in the middle of the block on Nebraska) right to Comet at the corner of Connecticut and Nebraska. Check out the bus schedule here
