If you aren’t listening to The Menzingers it’s easy to think that middle aged punk has run out steam. But you’d be the only one thinking that. Raised in Scranton but now based in Philadelphia, this band combines great songwriting with tireless energy and tons of heart to keep creating great albums. Punk isn’t dead, it‰’s just reached it‰’s midlife crisis.

MeWithoutYou have become one of today‰’s most fascinating experimental rock acts. The last 15 years have borne witness to the Philadelphia five-piece exercising stylistic evolutions and aerial dynamics with humbling dexterity and untamed ambition. Their roots may be progressive punk/post-hardcore but they‰’ve never been content to remain within a genre. The group‰’s new album “Pale Horses‰” is the best evidence to date of their eclectic agility.

Pianos Become The Teeth is a post-hardcore/emotive hardcore band formed in 2006. They perform inspired by post-rock and early screamo acts, and are a part of “The Wave” — an in-joke began by friends TouchÌ© AmorÌ©, La Dispute, Defeater, and Make Do And Mend, all playing a form of post-hardcore music. The group reissued their debut album “Old Pride: in 2010 through Topshelf Records.

Formed in 2008, Restorations is a prog rock band that has played multiple world tours and has also played NPR‰’s Tiny Desk Concerts.
