Thursday March 19th: Asc. Scorpio by Oracle Sisters

I drove to school this morning and my roommate played this on the way there. We’re both Scorpio Risings. “You’re Ascendant Scorpio. An element of blunder, a tenement, which number?” I’m not quite sure I love how they’re portraying us.

Friday March 20th: Love You Like A Love Song by Selena Gomez

Who hasn’t listened to old Radio Disney-esque songs while walking through CVS looking for something to drink?

Saturday March 21st: What the Hell by Avril Lavigne

I took a long, long walk today around the neighborhood I live in and walked past places I’d never seen before. Then I went into CVS looking for something to drink again while this played on loop. This time it was for our WVAU E-Board bonding, though, so I don’t think that counts.

Sunday March 22nd: Paranoid Android by Radiohead

My roommate (the Scorpio Rising one) and I drove to Harper’s Ferry and hiked, complaining through it all. We also weren’t very prepared, but luckily two other women at the start of the trail gave us water bottles. It was a beautiful view, though. After walking around the town a little more, we drove back to DC and stopped at not only Sonic for drinks but Wendy’s for frosties, too. Scorpio Rising roommate had this playing and I think it must have given her powers because she got there eight minutes before me. I played the album for the rest of the drive home.

Monday March 23rd: The Kids Don’t Wanna Come Home by Declan McKenna

I can’t be the only one who had a long Declan McKenna phase in middle school and  high school. I played this one on my radio show and could have sworn I was thirteen again in art class.

Tuesday March 24th: Transcend Alpha 106 Hz – 114 Hz by Earthbound

I swear I listened to music today, but it was later on my roommate’s Spotify account and I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t admit to the fact that I mostly listened to this. You have to understand, the lock in was necessary.

Wednesday March 25th: Spring Breakers by Charli xcx

We watched this movie. Spring Breakers, if you were wondering. Visually, beautiful. It kind of felt like a music video. But there’s an issue when you’re basically watching a 90 minute music video where nothing happens and a lot happens all at once. I don’t know, maybe I’m just not niche enough. Great soundtrack, though!
