Concert Preview: Bassvictim @ The Atlantis on 10/20

The Duo Bassvictim is set to play at The Atlantis on Oct. 20th, 2025. This performance will take place just 10 days after the release of their third album, which was released this past Friday. The group is composed of Maria Manow from Poland and English-American Ike Clateman. They are known for making crunchy electroclash tracks like “Forever Salty”, “Alice”, and “Air on a G String”, all of which quickly became underground hits, resonating with listeners drawn to the grit and glamour of the growing indie sleaze revival. They’ve also been known to stir up commotion online, most notably after their infamous attempt to film their set in Berlin’s legendary no-cameras nightclub, Bergheim.

Bassvictim, founded in late 2022, has seen immense success with lovers of indie sleaze revival. Their sonic identity draws comparisons to acts like Snow Strippers, Crystal Castles, and The Hellp; yet, their sound stands apart as arguably more authentic and experimental.

Their newest album, titled “Forever”, displays the group’s range, blending grunge, synths, and industrial dance, balanced with an airy nostalgia that emanates through every track. The result is an album that feels both raw and ethereal. Fans are easily describing it as some of their best work to date, with this project cementing their position at the forefront of the electroclash resurgence. With “Forever” marking a new creative peak, the duo’s October show is shaping up to be an unmissable night. Tickets are still available here with the show scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
