Concert Preview: IDK HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME at Lincoln Theatre

Whether you happen to know him as former Brobecks frontman or as the bassist for Panic! At The Disco, Dallon Weekes is surely a name you’ve come across at one point or another. And, following the release of his solo project IDKHOW’s second studio album, “GLOOM DIVISION,” he will be taking the stage at the Lincoln Theatre here in D.C.

After the success of his solo project IDK HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME’s first studio album, “RAZZMATAZZ,” with hit songs such as “Leave Me Alone” and “New Invention,” Weekes has showcased the breadth of his musical genius, using his experience to combine elements of pop-punk, indie-pop, and what he personally describes as “hipster nonsense.” Anyone lucky enough to see him on his current tour will be in for an energetic night giving a view into the complex inner workings that have influenced his music.

IDKHOW will be accompanied at the Lincoln Theatre by LA-based dance-punk band ALEXSUCKS, and the 80’s influenced electro-pop songwriter Brasko.

Tickets for IDKHOW at Lincoln Theatre on Nov. 11 are still available for purchase here. Doors are at 6:30 PM, with ALEXSUCKS and Brasko as openers.
