LA-born bassist, producer, and singer Thundercat, known for his work with Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, and Childish Gambino has been releasing unique sounds for over a decade. And now, he is now bringing his artistic performance to The Anthem on Oct. 28.
Stephen Bruner, better known as Thundercat, started his career as a session musician and bassist in Suicidal Tendencies before stepping into the spotlight with his debut solo album, “The Golden Age of Apocalypse,” in 2011. Since then, he’s released several acclaimed projects, including “Drunk” and “It Is What It Is,” with the latter earning him a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album
