WVAU is proud to present this fall’s Capitol Punishment concert: BadBadNotGood with Ace Cosgrove on Friday, November 14 in the Tavern at Amercan University.
Canadian experimental jazz & electronic trio BadBadNotGood (also referred to as BBNG) reinterpret popular hip-hop and electronic artists such as Kanye West, TNGHT, Flying Lotus and Tyler, The Creator. BBNG first came to prominence with their jazz and electronic interpretations of hip hop songs at university. With the help of YouTube and Bandcamp, the trio began collaborating with Frank Ocean, Wu-Tang Clan and Danny Brown. BBNG has performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella and SXSW. Maryland native Ace Cosgrove will open the show.
FREE to all AU student with a valid student ID, the show is open to the American University community.
