Concept album about a man with a hidden violent nature
Greyhound Blues is the debut album from singer-songwriter Aaron Kyle’s newish project Geronimo Getty. It is a concept album about the journey of a man with a hidden violent nature, though the music is more melodic in nature than it is dark or depressing. Musically, it is a strong Americana / folk / country album that should appeal to fans of those styles as well as those who may not ordinarily listen to this kind of music. Interestingly, music videos were filmed for each song on the album from a variety of both rising and veteran independent filmmakers, which in turn show the story told in the songs while showcasing the band’s music and the filmmakers’ skills.
