Promising, tender lead single
Papercuts is Jason Quever best known as engineer/producer for Cass Mccombs, Beach House, and Casiotone for the Painfully Alone to name a few. Papercuts released their first album in 2004 with Mockingbird, releasing their latest album, Fading Parade via Sub Pop in 2011. “Still Knocking at the Door” is a single from the upcoming album Life Among the Savages to be released May 6 on new label Easy Sound. “Still Knocking at the Door” is an easy listen reminiscent of the clear sound of a Grizzly Bear album. It is a tender and engaging plea of love that is somewhat hypnotizing. A strong single to get us excited for the full length this May.
