The Foals at Echostage 11/3/16
Foals, the alternative dance punk band from the Oxford, England will be playing on Thursday, November 3rd at Echostage.
Touring their fourth studio album, What Went Down, Foals have been a staple in the alternative scene since 2010 when they dropped their singles “Total Life Forever” and “Spanish Sahara.” The band’s first studio album Antidotes was released in 2008 and blends together heavy drums, layered vocals, and funk-inspired guitars to create a high-intensity, electronic-alternative album. With the release of their second album Total Life Forever (2010) the band became a recognizable name and won the 2013 Q Awards for their live performance. The band’s lead singer Yannis Philippakis is the hype-man behind this insane live act, as he jumps around into the audience singing and dancing to the high-energy music. If there’s one show you’ll walk out having danced your butt off this week it’ll be Foals.
