Since Fall 2018, I’ve been pushing for a more introspective, multi-series set of articles, ones that articulate on both my history with music and how that intermingles with my non-binary gender identity, my family, among other things. I think I still want to do the occasional random album review, but overall I want people to read something that’s deeper than just knowing ones’ feelings about music; about how that context can shape a person. I want to map the magnitude of music, because I think people are quick to write a few vaguely philosophical paragraphs and not dive much deeper past that. I want to write character-studies of music through me.
