After three carless months spent chasing Metrobuses down the street, I’ll be reunited in a matter of hours with my beloved taupe ’93 Camry and its crank-up windows. Returning to the suburbs of Philadelphia for break always involves slumming around in cars all week, and it’s been a while since I updated the contents of my car’s sparkly blue CD case. And sure, it’s fun for the first day or so to floor it down that one street cops don’t patrol (Baeder Road, I’m coming for you), singing shitty Top 40 radio at the top of your lungs.

But this 18-song mix is made for the road, whether you’re sitting in mall traffic or flying down the freeway, and features everything from the Ramones and Ray Charles to Grimes and Big K.R.I.T. Listen at any time of the day you’d like, but it’s best for your after-hours cruising. Drive slow, homie.
