Cherishing the everyday

After working on his side project, Rhye, during the early part of 2013, Milosh is back with Jetlag, showcasing his ability to make the most out of any moment. The sensual, embracing voice of Milosh is matched with creative instrumentation and sounds from everyday life, including many instances of his wife, Alexa Nikolas. Held in the track, “Don‰’t Call It,‰” is a hypnotic percussive line ties together the artist‰’s gradual additions of different sounds and lingering whispers. In tracks such as “Here In You,‰” there are groovy, electronic rhythms adding to emotion and meaning behind the words. In “Skipping‰” Milosh sings, “Let it go, let it go, let it rise‰” repeatedly in the chorus to match the persistent lyrical themes of transition and change. Milosh holds the ability to captivate listeners, willing them to take a step back and find beauty in routine behaviors and sounds as he does.
