Electronic, experimental indie cover songs that many bands lend help to.

With “Fellow Travelers‰Û, Shearwater has created a new kind of cover album. Instead of the band just covering a variety of songs, they invited other bands to help them record. Each of these bands had toured with Shearwater recently, and lent something unique to a song. The album is especially different because no band played on their own song. Many of the songs have unique noise elements like bird calls and radio signals, which spice up the electric indie throughout the album. Shearwater takes a lot of creative freedom with these covers, but it almost always works it well.
