Twinkie Jiggles, also known as Sean McPherson, is a Minnesotan bassist who has been a key player in the Twin Cities Hip-Hop industry for years. His latest creation, Too Big To Fail, has brought together a wide array of female vocalists from throughout the Twin Cities‰’ music scene to assemble his Broken Orchestra. The album is quite varied drawing influence from folk, soul, and rock styles but is tied together through honest and relatable storytelling. “Hi, My Name is Ana‰” combines chill instrumentation and vocals with emotional lyrical themes of transition. In contrast, the album‰’s very next track, “Free Change,‰” has an old-school soul feel full of horns and fun guitar lines.
