Alt-pop London power duo

Coming off a tour with Chvrches, this London duo had more than enough steam to release debut album Galore and jump right back into a headlining tour. If nothing else, the alt-pop album radiates a feel-good energy akin to blooming spring weather. This hook-heavy album lives off strong vocal harmonies, irresistibly catchy rhythms, contagious handclaps, and tastefully astral synths. The album varies from the incredibly upbeat Dancing‰’s Done to the romantic experience of Running Rope with absolute ease and all the right transitions in between. In addition to being outright musically delectable, Galore refuses to be a series of singles and reads as an album as a whole. In the recent trend of indie-pop bands from across the pond, Thumpers exudes enough talent to stand out from the wave.
