Indie sounding Passion Pit but more dynamic and just better.

CYMBALS is a London electronic band whose newest album includes eleven tracks ranging in length from one minute up to nine minutes. The album starts and finishes with two songs in French, “French in the Winter ‰98‰” and “The End.‰” Towards the beginning of the album with songs like “You Are‰” and “Empty Space‰” there is a clear electronic and even techno sound from the band that makes them sound more like Passion Pit with the well crafted melodies. As the album progresses the album becomes a little more indie-rock while still holding on to that electronic sound with songs like “Erosion.‰” The latter half of the album is where the album sounds more like bands such as the Shout Out Louds. Although the album progresses from a more electronically strong sound to more indie sound I think that the album is still cohesive and works well as a collection of songs. Overall I really enjoyed this album and found it to be original and not obnoxiously electronic.
