My very first impression of San Cisco was that this was a really fun band that makes catchy, indie surfer sounds, but later on I realized their lyrics are as cool as their beat. Gracetown is chill and beyond cool, but not at all pretentious. San Cisco just bangs out head bobbing goodness that could only be created in Australian sunshine. Like I just started listening and I‰’m already singing along — that is their type of vibe. All of their songs are just really relatable and make you say “yeah man right on.‰” The beginning of their album was pretty tropical with shakers and clapping featured on “Run‰” so I thought you could listen to this while on plane going to a far away island. Towards the end, not that it turns hard core or anything, but it becomes more 80s, synthesizer-eque. Still very cool, though. San Cisco is definitely going on my summer playlist.
