Pell, "Floating While Dreaming" (self-released)

Chloe Kim

Dynamic New Orleans young rapper…with a dream

The clean version of Floating While Dreaming is still pretty good, and I see potential for Pell. He has some cool lyrics and dream-like vibe — which is fitting considering he calls his music “dream rap.‰” His first track could definitely be playing as you longboard down a hill in San Francisco while track six could be featured in an action movie. “Eleven:11‰” is more romantic but then “Little Things‰” becomes instantly fast and catchy. Pell is really dynamic in terms of the uniqueness of each song and he has collaborated well with three different artists on this album. Give Pell‰’s “dream rap‰” a chance.
