Old School 90‰’s indie rock by veterans of the scene

Built To Spill are back with their first album in over 5 years, and continue to solidify their place as one of the most influential and heartwarming indie rock bands to come out of the ’90s. The first single from the album is a song that both new listeners and long-time fans are sure to enjoy wholeheartedly. The intro riff and guitar solo reflect their earlier work, particularly the seminal album There‰’s Nothing Wrong With Love. It‰’s not overly complex, but full of energy. However, once the intro is over the song seems to draw more from later in their discography, particularly There Is No Enemy. The vocals during the chorus especially bring it to mind, as they are slightly melancholic in contrast to the lively instrumentation by the rest of the band.
