N.E.W. is a record anyone that claims to love rock and roll, and especially those that love punk, must hear.

Death emerged as a lost relic of the origins of punk rock in 2008. Since then, the band has gained loads of attention and this year have released a new album comprised of some songs from the band‰’s original catalog and some completely new tracks, aptly named N.E.W. This record will feel like stumbling upon a treasure chest that was right in front of your face for any punk fan. Of course, this is great because of the amazing percussion and unbelievable marriage of funk, Hendrix-style guitar, and what we now know as classic punk rock chords. However it is also sad to think a band this integral to the formation of punk rock went so long without being heard and appreciated. To describe the music itself, the most important aspects are the passionate, raw vocals and extremely tight melodies. N.E.W. is a record anyone that claims to love rock and roll, and especially those that love punk, must hear.
