Shoegaze, psych, mellow Deerhunter with a little Arctic Monkeys

Brooklyn based band, Invisible Days, has released their self-titled EP with six new tracks. The band, who has released two singles and one other EP, plays very accessible shoegaze, chill and psych rock music. The lead singers voice, that sounds like Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys, is what gives Invisible Days a widely appealing sound while still being related to bands like Deerhunter. “Plans‰” and “So Let It Be‰” were my favorite lyrically my favorite, but almost all of their songs are very chill rock music. Overall, I like the album and found most of their songs were very similar to Deerhunter just a little the more toned down.
