WATCH OUT FOR Late Nights by Jeremih

COMING OUT July 17, 2015

It seems like a year ago that I was writing in anticipation for Jeremih‰’s latest, Late Nights: the Album– probably because it was a year ago. With its original release date on September 30, 2014 it‰’s clear the deadline wasn‰’t met. But do not fear! On July 17th, your prayers will have been answered. Boasting some heavy hitting production, including Diddy, DJ Mustard, and even David Guetta, the album is sure to satisfy your generic, booty-bouncing pop cravings. Judging by the released singles, this is almost a given. However, after a killer collab with Shlohmo on the 2014 No More EP, we can expect some interesting darker tones for the R&B singer. Evident in his single “Planes,‰” Jeremih took a few stylistic tips from the electronic producer in all the best ways, adding a more underground sound for the soundcloud crowd. Hey, even if he sang “Birthday Sex‰” for a solid hour and a half, would you even be mad?

If you haven‰’t listened yet, peep the SOX remix of planes right here:
