WVAU’s biggest music event of the year is springing back into action this Friday, March 21! Capitol Boogie will showcase incredible performances by D.C. based bands Ekko Astral and Argo and The Violet Queens. Come see these bands rock out at our very own Battelle Atrium at 7:30 p.m. where entry is free for all AU students.
Ekko Astral will grace the Battelle stage with music that can only be described in their own words as mascara mosh pit! And those are the perfect words to use, the trio delivers fun head-bopping punk music that won the hearts of so many they even won Pitchfork’s Best Rock Album of 2024.
Our stellar opening act, Argo and The Violet Queens are a D.C. based band performing their songs reminiscent of 70’s and 50’s psychedelic beats that are sure to blow your mind. The four members pair together perfectly and are sure to put on a theatrical and captivating performance you won’t want to miss!
