Concert Preview: Eliza McLamb

Eliza McLamb, who rose to prominence through her podcast “Binchtopia” with her co-host Julia Hava, returns to DC for her Anything You Want (And More) Tour. The George Washington University attendee is set to play the Black Cat this coming Monday following the release of her debut album “Going Through It,” a piece of musical melodrama highlighted by its storytelling element. She is also expected to play her most recent single, “God Take Me Out of L.A.,” a ballad dedicated to her recent cross-country move from L.A. to New York City.

McLamb will be opening for Nilufer Yanya but is expected to make her mark in the intimate venue. Those attending can expect to be dazzled by her juxtaposed set filled with both ferocious and gentle lyrics. The singer has been touring since 2021, opening for other indie rock artists such as Penelope Scott and Vacations. McLamb has established herself as an expert storyteller through her various artistic outlets, and fans are likely to be captivated Monday night by her powerful voice both within her lyrics and throughout the Black Cat.
