Few pop artists have been able to consistently merge the genre’s key sounds with a unique, critically-acclaimed sound like Jessie Ware has.
The London-born pop artist is stopping at the D.C. wharf on Saturday, October 10 at fan-favorite venue, The Anthem, as part of The Superbloom Tour. The tour takes its name after Ware’s newest album, Superbloom, which has drawn eyes from music nerds and pop fans alike.
Superbloom is an extension to Ware’s catalogue and the third and final album of her disco trilogy including albums What’s Your Pleasure? and That! Feels Good!, both of which amassed a large following and tons of acclaim.
Along with Ware comes opener dhruv, a British singer-songwriter, known for his hit “Double Take”. The two make for a blend of lofi and upbeat, catchy pop tunes – a billing that is bound to catch the ears of their fans attending the show at The Anthem.
Be sure to buy a ticket to see the two, a duo that you will not want to miss, at one of D.C.’s best venues. You can buy tickets via The Anthem’s website or by clicking here.
