Knox grabbed social media attention in 2022 with the single “Sneakers,” which caught the ear of pop-rock fans across the world. Four years later, in the wake of his second album “My Midwest Best,” he sets off on a headlining global tour.
The tour associated album continues Knox’s storytelling themes of heartbreak, growth, and reflection, with a focus on recreating the nostalgia of growing up in a small town. Track three “After The After Party” is likely to be a crowd-pleaser on stage, with a classic Knox snappy chorus.
Knox’s upbeat, alternative rock sound will transport from streaming platform to DC stage at the 9:30 Club on 12 Oct., supported by Emi Grace. He is a returning artist to the 9:30 Club, after playing the connected smaller venue The Atlantis in Feb. 2024, celebrated by his Atlantis Alumni Artist stamp on their website.
“My Midwest Best” is not one to miss, crossing 21 locations in the US this fall, alongside cities in Europe and Australia with early 2027 dates, marking this as his first global tour. You can get your tickets for Knox at the 9:30 Club on Oct. 12 here. Doors open at 7pm, with Emi Grace supporting.
