25 years after its initial release, “69 Love Songs” is back for four nights at the Lincoln Theater. Lead by Stephen Merritt, The Magnetic Fields is a indie pop band from Boston, Massachusetts. Their most well known project is “69 Love Songs”, a (you guessed it), 69-song album all about love.
With features of a plethora of instruments (banjos, woodwinds, synthesizers, even xylophones?!?!?), The Magnetic Fields proves to be so much more than an average indie-rock band. They started their Anniversary Tour in March, with shows all across the country. Their Washington, DC dates are their first shows back for their second leg.
All of their shows have available tickets remaining, but they are running low quick! Check out this link to get tickets from Oct. 17-20. This won’t be a show to miss!
