Concert Preview: Pink Sweat$ at The Anthem

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, David Bowden—professionally known as Pink Sweat$—was introduced to the world of music at a young age. However, due to being raised in a religious household, his music range and influences didn’t expand until his late teenage years. Starting out as a producer, he helped produce various genres of music for artists such as Florida Georgia Line and Tierra Whack; however, ever since the release of his debut EP “Volume 1,” he has made it into the spotlight himself.

Dubbed Pink Sweat$ after the clothing he often wore in recording studios, Bowden is now a popular R&B artist who has garnered over a billion total streams on Spotify, with his most popular song “At My Worst” having over 720 million streams. He has also collaborated with artists such as Kehlani, 6LACK and Tori Kelly, as well as K-Pop artists P1Harmony and SEVENTEEN’s Joshua and DK. If you’re a fan of Daniel Caesar and Khalid, consider giving Pink Sweat$ a listen!

You can see Pink Sweat$ perform in D.C. at The Anthem on Feb. 13, which is, not only the day before Valentine’s Day, but also the day before his birthday—I hope to see you there!
