Concert Preview: Real Friends at 9:30 Club

Do you like pop punk..? Do you like emo…?? Do you like FUN????

Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions, consider checking out emo-pop quartet Real Friends as they hit the 9:30 club stage on Nov. 20.

Coming off the release of their most recent full length LP “Blue Hour,” the Midwest natives are honing in on their craft and ready to deliver a series of formidable performances all across the nation. Drilling guitars and gripping vocals create a feeling that can only be described as an early 2010’s Bionicle edit. Channeling that raw emo persona, Real Friends is ready to rip through the nation’s capital. As a real emo fan myself (totally legitimate title), I can certify that this show will NOT be one to miss.

With openers Can’t Swim, Carly Cosgrove and Slow Joy, this show promises a non-stop delivery of energy. Get tickets here. Doors are at 6:00pm, so mark your calendars!
